PFC Fulfillment Hires Vice President of Information Technology
PFC Fulfillment, a leading full-service fulfillment and promotion company headquartered in Camanche, Iowa, with operations in Iowa, Arizona and Sonora, announces the hiring of John Sammon as Vice President of Information Technologies. He comes from Get Beyond, a software firm specializing in retail payments and POS systems. Mr. Sammon was with Get Beyond for seven years in increasing roles of software management experience. He was most recently the Director of Software Engineering, leading a department of 18 software engineers.
Prior to Get Beyond, John was the Vice President of Operations and Technology for the American Rental Association. In this role he managed a team that implemented forecasting models for members of the ARA as well as the development of online resources for HR and Legal assistance. Mr. Sammon also worked for Adrian Carriers, where he developed logistics systems to manage shipments, drivers, and equipment. He also implemented invoicing and payroll systems to calculate driver compensation based on satellite data.
John has a BA in Management Information Systems (MIS) from Western Illinois University and Masters in MIS from Florida Atlantic University.
